It was cooked as ordered but nothing to rave about. I had the scotch fillet steak with mushroom sauce, chips & salad. That was fine, but we would not receive full table service, so we ordered our meals at the register & collected a buzzer. So we asked if we could eat in the lounge area. They could’ve easily made a table of two. Seriously! We were not going to hover over them like a pair of seagulls about to pounce on a chip! There were plenty of other larger tables. We proceeded to the dining area & waited for a server to attend to us.Īs we were just a couple, they could not accommodate us in the dining area as “they would lose money for a table of two.” There were 3 or 4 other couples eating at the time & we were told we could wait until one of them finished. As we entered the bar/lounge area, it looks amazing! Comfortable padded chairs and tables at differing heights meant you could have drinks or a meal there. I hope the reception area is going to be done in the near future as it quite dated & tired looking. a few years since we’ve been here & had read on TripAdvisor that Reno’s had been done. We rang the club at 4:20pm on Wednesday to book a table for the two of us for a 6pm dinner for that evening, only to be told they don’t take bookings after 4pm but walk-ins are welcome.
